The key purpose is to meet production goals through supervision of production personnel.
Salary commensurate with experience, negotiable.
Key Tasks 1.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the agricultural production facility, maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.
2.
Implementing and ensuring staff follow operational policies and procedures.
3.
Ensuring effective and safe use of production & warehouse equipment.
4.
Providing leadership, coaching, and training of staff.
Both motivating and, as required, disciplining staff.
5.
Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of production and warehouse activities including KPI's, QC documentation and inventory levels.
6.
Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the processing equipment during daily physical inspections to ensure it is in good working order.
Following PM schedules.
7.
Hire, train and direct production personnel in their various jobs, in ways which promote safety, quality and productivity so that they are maintained at the highest levels including proper use of all PPE.
8.
Contribute to setting production goals and targets.
9.
Provide bi-weekly payroll reports and regular progress reports to the HR department.
10.
Verify all incoming and outgoing shipments.
11.
Maintain all supplies and PPE at acceptable levels.
12.
Continue good relations with local and regional suppliers.
13.
Comply with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling and production requirements.
Qualifications 1.

years production management experience in an industrial environment.
2.
Excellent understanding of production and warehouse management procedures.
3.
General knowledge of industrial equipment operations and maintenance.
4.
Proficient computer skills.
5.
Good time-management skills.
6.
Strong leadership, organizational, multi-tasking with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
7.
Forklift Operation Certification for employee training.
8.
Experience in managing inventory, ordering of equipment and ordering of warehouse supplies.
9.
Reliable and flexible work schedule.
10.
Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal.
11.
Strong people skills.
